TrendMacro Announces New Chief Europe Strategist

Ireland-based Lorcan Roche Kelly to cover European markets, policy, politics 

We are happy to announce that a new partner is joining TrendMacro. Starting today, Lorcan Roche Kelly will be our Chief Europe Strategist, working from Ireland.

Lorcan will add considerable depth and expertise to our coverage of Europe. That's particularly important now for US clients, while Europe continues to struggle with debt problems that are potentially of global systemic importance.

More broadly for TrendMacro, this is the first step in becoming a truly global firm, and aligning ourselves more completely with the global scope of our clients. We look forward to introducing you, and any colleagues who focus on Europe, to Lorcan.

Lorcan's name may be familiar to those of you who have followed the European debt crisis in detail. Through his active online presence and his role as a consultant in both the financial and the political spheres, he has been a uniquely knowledgeable and outside-the-box voice on the monetary and political aspects of the crisis.
